Description

This course prepares students as early childhood teachers to foster the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth of young children. It provides training hours in 8 competency areas required for the Child Development Associate Credential. It supports students in developing cultural competence necessary for working in indigenous communities. Students will complete a practicum field placement.
